Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website at rdd-labs.com (the "Site") or any related service operated by Daniel Simonov (Osek Patur: 323812388), trading as RDD Labs, based in Israel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using the Site immediately.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
2. Description of Services
RDD Labs operates the Site to:
- Provide information about our mobile game studio and our products.
- Promote and support our debut mobile game, Color Drain (in final testing ahead of launch).
- Accept email sign-ups for launch notifications, studio updates and the Color Drain closed test on Android.
- Host a player community at /community, where members talk to the studio and to each other.
The Color Drain mobile game ("Game") launches on 12 October 2026 on Google Play (Android) and Apple's App Store (iPhone and iPad); until then the Android version is in closed testing on Google Play. It is covered by the game terms in section 16, together with the rest of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or our services at any time without notice or liability.
3. Eligibility
Our services work on one age: 16.
- Sign-up forms and the community are for people aged 16 and over. By signing up or joining, you confirm that you are at least 16. If you are under 16, you are welcome to read the Site, but please do not sign up, join the community or send us personal information.
- Color Drain can be played at any age. The first time you open it, the game asks your month and year of birth, or uses the age range Google Play, or Apple on an iPhone, shares where it does. Under 16, the game runs in Offline Play, without ads, purchases, an account or leaderboards (section 16.3). Please answer the age question truthfully: it is how the game protects younger players.
- If you are 16 or 17, you are a minor under Israel's Legal Capacity and Guardianship Law, 5722-1962. You may sign up, join the community and play with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, and we ask you to show them these Terms. Purchases in Color Drain by anyone under 18 need a parent's or guardian's consent (section 16.5).
- If we learn that we hold personal data of someone under 16, we delete it. A parent or guardian can ask us to do so at support@rdd-labs.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You specifically agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Site without our express written permission.
- Use the Site to distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
- Impersonate RDD Labs, our team members, or any other person or entity.
- Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers or network.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software or code associated with the Site or our games, except where permitted by applicable law.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fake email addresses in our sign-up forms.
We reserve the right to block or restrict access to any user who violates these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, game assets, animations, code, and design — is the exclusive property of RDD Labs or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may:
- View and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Take and share screenshots of the Site or our games for news coverage, reviews, or fan content, provided you credit RDD Labs.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without prior written consent.
- Use our brand name, logo, or game assets in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation without our permission.
- Create derivative works based on our games or Site content without authorisation.
6. User-Submitted Content
If you submit feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions, or other content to us (by email, from inside the Color Drain game, or through any other feedback channel), you grant RDD Labs a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use, adapt, and incorporate that feedback into our products and services without any obligation to compensate you or credit you.
You retain ownership of any content you submit, but by submitting it you confirm that you have the right to grant the above licence and that the content does not infringe any third party's rights.
7. Email Communications
Email sign-up is based on your active, confirmed opt-in — by submitting our sign-up form you ask to receive communications from RDD Labs, and by pressing the button on the page that the link in our confirmation email opens, you confirm that the address is yours. Nothing further is sent until you do, and we do not add anyone to our list without that deliberate two-step action.
Some emails we send constitute advertising material under Section 30A of the Israeli Communications Law (Bezeq and Broadcasts), 5742-1982. Every such email is marked פרסומת in its subject and body, clearly identifies RDD Labs as the sender with our contact details and address, and includes an unsubscribe link, whose page takes a single press of a button. You may opt out at any time, without conditions, by using that link, using your mail app's own unsubscribe button, replying to the message, or emailing support@rdd-labs.com. We honour all opt-out requests immediately and will not send further advertising material to anyone who has unsubscribed.
For full details on how we handle your email address, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, app stores, development tools, or social media). These links are provided for convenience only. RDD Labs has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content and services provided through it are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory.
RDD Labs makes no warranty that:
- The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or up to date.
- The Game will launch on any particular date or with any particular features.
- The Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RDD Labs and its members, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
- Damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our services.
- Damages resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
In any event, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the total amount you actually paid to us in connection with the service giving rise to the claim. Because the Site is currently free of charge, this amount is ILS 0 unless a specific paid service has been provided to you.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential damages. To the extent such restrictions apply to you, some of the above limitations may not apply.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RDD Labs and its members, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought before the competent courts in Ashdod, Israel (Southern District of Israel). Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory right you may have under Israeli consumer protection law to seek relief in a court otherwise competent to hear your claim.
Before initiating any legal action, we encourage you to contact us at support@rdd-labs.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We're a small studio and always prefer a conversation first.
13. General Provisions
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to do so in the future.
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy — and, for community members, the community rules — constitute the entire agreement between you and RDD Labs regarding your use of the Site.
- Language: These Terms are written in English. In case of any translation, the English version takes precedence.
14. Accessibility
RDD Labs is operated by Daniel Simonov (Osek Patur: 323812388) as a sole proprietor (Osek Patur) under Israeli law. Under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998 and the Service Accessibility Regulations (5773-2013), businesses operating as Osek Patur are exempt from the mandatory website-accessibility requirements. Accordingly this Site is not certified as compliant with Israeli Standard (IS) 5568 / WCAG 2.0 AA.
Notwithstanding this exemption, we publish an Accessibility Statement voluntarily. It records the standard we work to, what is in place, the known limitations with the dates we expect to fix them, and how to reach us — and we make reasonable, good-faith efforts to keep the Site navigable and usable for as many visitors as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers or keyboard navigation.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Site — such as content that is difficult to read, navigate, or use with your assistive technology — please contact us at support@rdd-labs.com. We will do our best to respond in a reasonable time and, where possible, provide the information you need in an alternative format.
15. The Player Community
If you join the player community, the community rules are part of these Terms for you. You accept them the first time you sign in, and they can change the way section 1 describes.
What you post stays yours. By posting it you grant RDD Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show it on the Site for as long as it is up — including as “deleted member” after you delete your account, as the Privacy Policy explains.
We may hide or lock posts and suspend accounts when the rules are broken, and we say why. Every decision can be appealed at /community/appeal; anything can be reported at /community/report.
The community is for people aged 16 and over (section 3). If you are under 16, do not join.
16. Color Drain Game Terms
These game terms apply when you install or play Color Drain, our game for Android on Google Play, and for iPhone and iPad on Apple's App Store, where it is called Color Drain: Paint Rescue. Both launch on 12 October 2026; until then the Android version is in closed testing. The rest of these Terms applies to the game too; where the two differ, this section wins for the game. How the game handles your data is in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
16.1 Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install Color Drain from Google Play or Apple's App Store on devices you own or control, and to play it for your own non-commercial entertainment, under these Terms and the terms of the store you got it from. The game is licensed to you, not sold.
16.2 Your game account
Unless you play in Offline Play (16.3), the game creates a game account for you automatically; there is no password to choose. You can link a Google account in the game, or on an iPhone an Apple Account, to keep your progress, and unlink it again. You are responsible for your device and your Google or Apple account: anyone who uses them can play as you and, subject to the store's purchase checks, buy things. Your account ID is on the Profile screen, where COPY copies it: it is how we find your account if you write to us.
16.3 Age
The first time you open Color Drain, it asks for your month and year of birth; where Google Play, or Apple on an iPhone, shares your age range with apps, the game uses that range instead of asking, and if you gave Google the range yourself, it takes whichever is younger, that range or an answer you gave the game. You cannot change the answer in the game.
- Under 16 — Offline Play: every level is playable and your progress stays on your phone, but there are no ads, purchases, game account, cloud save, leaderboards or feedback form, and nothing you do in the game leaves your phone.
- 16 and 17 — the full game, with ads that are never personalised and appear only when you choose to watch one, no analytics, a leaderboard name from the game's list, and purchases only with a parent's or guardian's consent (16.5).
- 18 and over — the full game, with an ad between some levels as well (16.7).
When you reach the next age group, the game moves you on by itself. If a parent supervises your Google account and has not approved the game, or where the law requires you to confirm your age with Google Play and you have not, the game runs in Offline Play until that is done; if a parent withdraws their approval, the game stops working on that installation (Privacy Policy, section 7).
16.4 Coins, boosters and other items
The game has coins, boosters (such as magnets, clear bombs and freezes), skins and upgrades (“virtual items”). You can earn them by playing, and buy some of them with real money (16.5). Virtual items are part of your licence to play, not property: they have no cash value, and they cannot be exchanged for money or for anything outside the game, sold, transferred to another account or player, or redeemed. Coins and boosters are used up when you spend or use them. We may change the balance of the game — prices in coins, rewards, items and what they do — for example to fix problems or to keep the game fair. Color Drain is in closed testing, so we may need to reset progress, coins or items, for example to fix a fault; we will do that only where the law allows it. One-time purchases stay linked to your Google Play account or Apple Account, and “Restore Purchases” in Settings asks the store for them again. Coins you bought are part of your progress: if you delete your progress or your account, they cannot be restored.
The launch gift. If you signed up on rdd-labs.com before 12 October 2026 to hear from the studio by email, and confirmed your address by 19 October 2026, we send you a personal code for an exclusive Color Drain skin that is never sold. The code is emailed once the game can redeem it. You redeem it in the game, in Settings under Gift code, on a game account (not in Offline Play, 16.3), by 31 December 2026; the first time, you need to be online. Each email address gets one code, and each code works once, on one game account: whoever enters it first gets the skin, so keep it to yourself. The skin is a virtual item like any other in this section: it has no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
16.5 Buying with real money
The game sells six items through Google Play and, on an iPhone, through Apple's App Store: the No-Ads Pass (16.6) and the Vacuum Master starter pack, which you buy once and keep, and four coin packs, which add coins to your balance. Each has fixed contents, shown before you buy: nothing is sold as a chance at a random reward, and nothing is sold in Offline Play (16.3). You buy them on the store's own purchase screen, Google Play's or Apple's, which shows the price in your currency before you pay, and the store takes the payment under its own terms; we never see your payment details. If a purchase does not arrive, write to us with the Google Play order number, or the order ID on Apple's receipt.
Refunds. Google Play's refund policies apply: you can ask Google Play for a refund, or write to us at support@rdd-labs.com with the order number — we can refund Google Play orders ourselves. For a purchase on the App Store, Apple's refund policies apply and only Apple can refund it: ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the game may remove what was bought with it.
Players under 18. A purchase by anyone under 18 needs the consent of a parent or guardian. The shop says so to everyone, and before the first purchase of a player aged 16 or 17 the game shows a reminder that they need a parent's or guardian's OK. We recommend that parents turn on purchase approvals in Google Play (Family Link, or the Play Store's purchase authentication) or, on an iPhone, Ask to Buy in Apple's Family Sharing. A parent or guardian who did not consent to a purchase can ask for a refund within one month of learning of it, through Google Play's refund process or by writing to us with the Google Play order number, or, for an App Store purchase, through Apple's refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. We never take away a player's progress because a parent asked for a refund, beyond the item that was refunded.
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived, including the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
16.6 The No-Ads Pass
The No-Ads Pass is a one-time purchase that removes the ads between levels (16.7) and gives you a daily bonus of 100 coins and the exclusive Diamond skin. It does not remove or change the optional rewarded videos. Only players aged 18 and over are shown ads between levels, so for a player aged 16 or 17 the pass gives the daily coins and the skin.
16.7 Ads
In some places you can watch a video ad for a reward: your daily reward, free coins, a second chance in a level (Second Wind), a skin trial, or doubled offline earnings. Watching is always your choice. You get the reward once the ad has played; if an ad does not load, or you close it early, you may not get it. If you are 18 or over, the game also shows an ad between some levels, as you leave the screen at the end of a level: from level 8, at most once every three levels and every three minutes, and never in your first session. The No-Ads Pass removes these (16.6). Players under 18 never see them, and Offline Play has no ads at all (16.3). The ads are served by Google AdMob, as section 7 of the Privacy Policy describes.
16.8 Leaderboards and display names
Your display name, your scores and the skin you use are shown to every player on the global leaderboards (Privacy Policy, section 7), unless you choose “Hide me from the leaderboards” on the leaderboard screen. If you are 18 or over, you choose your display name. It must not be offensive, hateful or sexual; must not pretend to be another person, a brand or RDD Labs; must not contain personal information about you or anyone else; and must not advertise anything or contain links. Our server checks a name a player chooses before it can appear on the leaderboards: it accepts only English letters (A–Z), digits, spaces, hyphens and underscores, with at least one letter, and it checks the name against a list of blocked words in English and Hebrew. No list catches everything, so choose with care. Players aged 16 or 17 appear on the leaderboards only under a name from the game's list, or the one the game gives them, and players under 16 are not on the leaderboards. You can report a name on the leaderboards by tapping it. We may change or remove, without notice, a display name or a leaderboard entry that breaks these rules or that looks like cheating.
16.9 Feedback
Feedback you send from the game is covered by section 6: it stays yours, and you give us the licence to use it described there. We store it as section 7 of the Privacy Policy describes. Do not include personal details in it.
16.10 What you must not do
- Cheat: use bots, scripts, modified versions of the game, or tools that change your progress, coins, items, scores or purchases.
- Tamper with the game's save files, leaderboards or purchase checks, or use a bug to gain an advantage instead of reporting it to us.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the game, except where the law allows it.
- Get virtual items or the No-Ads Pass without paying for them where they cost money, or sell, buy or trade accounts or virtual items outside the game.
- Use the game or your display name to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or for anything unlawful.
- Interfere with the game's servers, or with other players' use of the game.
16.11 Suspension and termination
If you break these Terms — for example by cheating, or with an abusive display name — we may remove your leaderboard entries, reset your progress, or suspend or delete your game account. We will act in proportion to what happened and, where we have a way to reach you, tell you why. Where the law requires us to refund a purchase in that case, we will. You may stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your data (16.12). Your licence ends when your game account is deleted; sections 5, 9 to 13, 16.14 and 16.15 continue to apply.
16.12 Deleting your account and data
“Delete account & data” in the game's Settings deletes your game account and the data our servers hold for it, and your phone then starts over as a new player; section 7 of the Privacy Policy lists what it deletes and what it does not, and how to ask us by email instead, with your account ID — for example if your version of the game does not have the option. “Delete All Progress” in Settings erases your progress and your cloud save, but not your account, your leaderboard entries or your feedback. In Offline Play (16.3) there is no game account: “Delete my progress” in Settings erases your progress on your phone. Deleting your account or your progress deletes your coins, boosters and other items, including coins you bought; one-time purchases stay linked to your Google Play account or Apple Account, and “Restore Purchases” asks the store for them again.
16.13 Test builds
A test build of Color Drain, such as the Android closed test before launch, is not finished. Test builds can have bugs, can lose progress, and can change or remove features, levels, items and prices; the ads in test builds may be Google's test ads; and the closed test can end, or the game can be withdrawn, at any time. We do not promise that your progress, coins or items will carry over to a public release; a right to a refund that the law gives you for something you paid for is not affected.
16.14 Who owns the game
Color Drain — its code, art, animation, music and sound, text, names, characters and levels, and the virtual items in it — belongs to RDD Labs or its licensors, and section 5 applies to it. The licence in 16.1 is the only right you get in it.
16.15 Our responsibility
We provide Color Drain as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, that your progress will never be lost, or that it will work on every device. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, and our total responsibility to you in connection with the game is limited to the amount you paid for purchases in the game in the 12 months before your claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit, or your rights as a consumer. Section 12 (governing law and disputes) applies to the game.
16.16 Changes to these game terms
We may change these game terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies. A change to these terms does not reduce what you have already bought. If you do not accept a change, stop playing; you can ask us to delete your data (16.12).
