RDD Labs —
Mobile Game Studio in Ashdod

Founded in 2025, RDD Labs is a mobile game studio based in Ashdod, Israel. We combine design obsession with engineering depth to build mobile games that punch above their weight.

We research what players love, design experiences they can't put down, and develop robust systems that scale from day one.

Building games that
stick with you

We specialize in mobile games that are easy to pick up but hard to put down. Clean design meets addictive mechanics — every pixel and millisecond is intentional.

Hybrid-Casual Core

Simple, intuitive gameplay loops that anyone can learn in seconds. One-tap mechanics, zero friction.

Robust LiveOps & Analytics

Scalable backend infrastructure to track player retention, optimize levels in real-time, and lay the groundwork for future titles.

Polished UI/UX

Every screen is designed with care — satisfying animations, clear feedback, and seamless flow between states.

Offline-First Core

Every level runs with no connection. 60fps on mid-range Android. Cloud save is optional, on top — never a requirement to play.

Rapid Prototyping

From concept to playable in days, not months. We validate fast and iterate relentlessly based on data.

Full Stack

Unity frontend, Firebase backend (Auth, Firestore, Analytics), GitHub Actions CI/CD. Fully offline core with cloud save on top.

What makes Color Drain
so addictive

One-Touch Gameplay
Tap and drag to vacuum color stains across 3D low-poly city dioramas. Intuitive controls that feel natural from the very first second.
Race Against Time
Levels 1–4 are an untimed tutorial to learn the mechanic. From there, race the clock — drain the full surface before time runs out.
3-Star Rating
Stars are earned based on time remaining when you finish. Drain faster, earn more stars, perfect your runs.
Second Chance
Timer up? Watch a short rewarded ad for +15 seconds. One last shot to drain that final stubborn corner.
100 Levels, 10 Chapters
100 hand-crafted levels across 10 chapters, all built and playable. Each new chapter unlocks progressively as you earn stars in the one before it.
City Restoration
Your cumulative drain progress feeds the city restoration meta-bar on the main menu. Watch the city come back to life.
Nozzle Skins
Cosmetic nozzle and hose skins bought with coins you earn in-game. Pure style, zero gameplay impact.
Ad-Free Upgrade
One-time $2.99, permanent. Color Drain has no interstitials either way — the only ad is the rewarded +15 seconds you choose to watch. No subscription, no dark patterns.

We build against
three numbers.

These are the KPIs every design decision is measured against — targets we are building toward, not results. Color Drain has not shipped yet.

Cost Per Install
< $0.50

Target CPI

Low-CPM inventory and fast creative rotation are how we plan to hold acquisition cost at the bottom of the category range.
Industry avg: $0.50 – $1.20
Day-1 Retention
40%

D1 Retention

First-session hook and level pacing tuned for same-day return — aiming at the top of the hybrid-casual band.
Industry avg: 25 – 35%
Avg. Session Time
8 – 10 Min

Session Length

Star-chase progression sized for short sessions with high replay — long enough to matter, short enough to come back to.
Industry avg: 5 – 10 min

Pre-launch targets, not measured results. We will publish the real curves after closed testing.

How we build

Ship Fast

Ideas are cheap, execution is everything. We prototype in days, validate with data, and iterate relentlessly.

Obsess Over Details

From the ripple effect on a button tap to server response latency — every detail matters. Polish is the product.

Player First

Every decision starts with the player experience. Monetization serves gameplay, not the other way around.

Data-Driven

Retention curves, session lengths, conversion funnels. Gut feelings start conversations; data ends them.

Stay Lean

Small team, big leverage. AI tools, automation, and smart architecture to punch 10x above our weight.

Think Global

Built in Israel, played everywhere. From day one, we design for global audiences with localization in mind.

Common questions

Color Drain is in final testing ahead of launch. It launches first on Android (Google Play) in Q4 2026. iOS (App Store) follows approximately 2 months later. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know!

Yes! Color Drain will be free to download and play. The game includes optional in-app purchases for cosmetic items and an optional ad-free upgrade, but all core content is fully accessible without paying.
